Dust and weather
Quad puts you in the dust column. Jeep keeps it out with a closed cabin and air-con. In July and August the jeep feels much cooler.
Minimum age
Quad: 16+ on every quad tour, including the Super Safari, and under-16s cannot ride even as a passenger. Jeep has no minimum age — toddlers and seniors are fine. The buggy is 16+ as well, with no passengers under 16: from 16, teens can drive a buggy or their own quad, while younger kids are better off on the jeep and stargazing safari, a camel ride or horse riding.
