Hurghada quad bike prices: what you pay and what is included
Quad biking in Hurghada costs less than most people expect, but the price range on the street is confusing. Here are our real 2026 prices, exactly what they cover, and the pricing tricks we tell our own guests to watch out for.

Ask five people in Hurghada what a quad tour costs and you get five answers, from a suspicious EUR 10 to a painful EUR 80. Both extremes usually hide something. We run these tours every day, so this is the honest version: the real prices from our booking pages, what is already inside that number, what counts as a fair extra, and the classic tricks that turn a cheap offer into an expensive afternoon. Read this before you book anywhere, even if it is not with us. Ten minutes here saves you real money out there.
The real price list for 2026
These are the live prices on our site right now, per adult. The ATV Quad Bike and Camel Ride, a focused three hour trip, is EUR 25. The Hurghada Super Safari, seven hours with quad, spider buggy, camel, Bedouin village, BBQ dinner and show, is EUR 30. The Buggy Ride is priced per vehicle: EUR 100 for a 2-seater buggy, EUR 120 for a 4-seater, whoever sits in it. The Sunset Camel Ride is EUR 22, and the Private Jeep Safari starts at EUR 55 per person. For comparison, the same quad and camel combo runs EUR 20 in Sharm El Sheikh and EUR 35 in Marsa Alam, where groups are smaller and the desert is quieter. Anything wildly above or below these numbers deserves a second question.
What the price already covers
Every price above includes hotel pickup and drop off in an air conditioned vehicle, and we collect from Hurghada hotels, El Gouna, Makadi Bay, Sahl Hasheesh, Soma Bay, and Safaga. It also includes the machine itself, a helmet, a guide who leads the group and sets the pace, and a Bedouin tea stop in the desert. On the Super Safari the BBQ dinner, the camel ride, the village visit, and the Tanoura show are all inside the EUR 30. There is no fuel charge, no helmet rental, and no fee for the safety briefing. If someone quotes you a base price and then lists these as extras, that is not a better deal, it is the same deal cut into pieces.
Child prices and the family math
There is a child rate with us, but the age rules decide where it exists. The child rate covers ages 4 to 11, and from 12 everyone pays the adult price. Every quad tour, the Super Safari included, is 16+, so those tours have no child rate at all: teens of 16 and 17 pay the adult price like everyone else, EUR 25 on the quad and camel trip and EUR 30 on the Super Safari. So two adults and two teens of 16 or 17 do the full Super Safari evening, dinner and show included, for EUR 120 total, with each teen driving their own quad. Nobody under 16 rides a quad, not even with a parent. With younger kids the family math gets friendlier: the sunset camel ride is EUR 22 per adult and EUR 14 for ages 4 to 11, horse riding (from age 8) is EUR 25 per adult and EUR 15 for ages 8 to 11, and the jeep and stargazing safari takes all ages at EUR 30 per adult and EUR 18 for ages 4 to 11, so two adults and two kids under 12 get the full desert evening for EUR 96. The buggy is 16+ as well, passengers included, and has no child rate because it is priced per buggy, not per person, so from 16 teens can drive the buggy or their own quad. We wrote a separate guide about safari days with kids if you want the details.
Private options when you want your own pace
If you would rather skip the group format, the Private Jeep Safari gives you a 4x4 with your own driver and guide from EUR 55 per person, and there is a whole jeep flat rate of EUR 200 if you want to fill it with your own people and stop wherever you like. We can also run private versions of the quad and buggy trips for birthdays, proposals, or groups who want the desert to themselves. Private always costs more than shared, that part is normal. What matters is that the price is agreed in writing before pickup, not renegotiated at a fuel stop in the middle of the desert.
Pay on arrival, cancel free up to 24 hours
You do not pay us online to hold a spot. You book, we confirm your pickup time, and you pay on the day of the tour. If your plans change, you can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the start. This matters more than it sounds, because a common trick in tourist areas is taking a deposit for a tour that quietly fills up or moves, and the deposit becomes a negotiation. When you pay on arrival there is nothing to argue about. Bring the amount in euros or the equivalent, and if you want to pay in another currency just ask us on WhatsApp before the day.
The too cheap street offer
That EUR 10 quad tour from a guy outside a supermarket is real, and it is real for a reason. Usually it means older machines that have not seen a mechanic in a while, a track next to the road instead of open desert, twenty minutes of actual riding, and no insurance behind any of it. Sometimes the low price is just bait, and once you are in the van the price grows a leg. We are not saying every street seller is dishonest. We are saying that at these prices the quad is where the money was saved, and the quad is the one thing you really do not want to save money on.
Hidden extras to ask about before you book
Three fees surprise people most often. First, the transfer fee: an offer that excludes hotel pickup can add EUR 5 to 10 per person once you are committed. Second, camera fees: some camps charge for bringing a GoPro or for photos with the animals. Third, gear: scarves and dust goggles are sold at most quad stations, they are not free anywhere. With us, pickup is always included, your own phone and camera are always welcome at no charge, and we tell you upfront that scarves, goggles, and professional photos are the only optional extras. Whoever you book with, ask those three questions first and watch how directly they answer.
Prices move a little with seasons, so treat our tour pages as the final word and this guide as the map. If you are not sure which trip fits your group or your budget, message us on WhatsApp, tell us who is coming, and we will point you to the right tour at the honest price.
